It’s officially that LETS GET MARRIED OUTSIDE UNDER AN OAK TREE in Houston weather!!! Yes that’s right it’s fall! And while it may only last a few days or in some instances a few hours it’s been amazing to enjoy it!

Picking a wedding date with the intent to have an outdoor ceremony in Houston is certainly a gamble like no other. I always suggest selecting a venue that has a SOLID PLAN B for the ceremony location. (Because I’m extra & attract clients that are extra that means their décor is typically EXTRA so solid means an alternative location outside of the reception space. No one and by no one I mean I SHE ME HER has time for stress of dealing with squeezing people inside a ballroom for the ceremony & trying to flip a room with 200+ guests IN THE WAY (aka a huge liability.) 🫠 Id also suggest picking months like November, December, March & May. Honestly by May 5th each year guests are melting and anything before Halloween is risky because of the heat, rain & hurricanes.

Thinking of having a unity ceremony and wanting to incorporate your entire family?!?

A SAND CEREMONY is the perfect idea to incorporate your children into your big day. I typically tell my couples to do one of the following approaches:
•Get 3 colors to match your color scheme plus white sand. One color for each person and the kids can share the 3rd color.
•Each person has their own color that’s their favorite color including the kids.

The white sand will be placed by my team and represent God as the base or foundation of your union.

After pouring all of the sand in those grains can never be separated back into their individual colors. They are blended in such a way that is inseparable and supported by a solid foundation of God.
