Folks. The Southwest open seat policy allows us to sit together on the graduation flight but the airline is planning to change this to a specific seat allocation. Such a change will ramp up what I have to charge fear of flying clients. May I ask you to please sign the petition below requesting Southwest keep their open seat policy. Thanks, Douglas

Nov 18, 2024. Flying enables us to do things important to us. For Dennis W, family ranks high. After a 25 year flying hiatus, Dennis completed our 1-on-1 program. Here, he is enjoying the fruits of his efforts with a family trip to Brecon Ridge, CO. Congrats Dennis!

Nov 2024. A hearty congrats to Dennis and Wyndee on their graduation flight to New Orleans today. They had completed a 1-on-1 with Douglas last week. Dennis had not flown for 25 years and Wyndee needed to "self-medicate" on prior flights (but not this one). Way to go Dennis/Wyndee. They're off to Colorado for a family trip next week and hoping they will send pix.

Oct 2024. Update from Francesca with whom we did a 1-on-1 class last year. Since then, her peregrinations (I like big words!) have taken her to Europe multiple times- Spain, Holland Italy. Here's a pix she snapped in Cinque Terre in Italy. CONGRATS to Francesca!

Sep 10, 2024. Kemi had a paralyzing fear of flying and would do anything not to fly. After she completed a 1-on-1 and a flight simulator session with us, she and her daughter hopped a flight down to Cancun for a short vacation. She texted this pix and said the "flight was great!" CONGRATS Kemi! !!

Aug 04, 2024. Flying allows us to do things important to each of us. What's more important than family? Here, a beaming Manny, who completed our summer workshop/graduation flight is heading to Puerto Vallarta with his grandmother. Way to go Manny!!

June 29, 2024. Folks this is what it's all about-flying allowing you to do something of value in YOUR life. CONGRATS to Alonzo!

Excerpts from an email from Alonzo who completed our Feb workshop. "..just want to thank you again for workshop....after 6 years of not flying....last week me and my wife went to Cancun ...over 3 hour flight and I was comfortable. That was my first time flying international."

Jun 15, 2024. CONGRATS to Arlene, David, James, Manny, Jorge Jr and Jorge Sr for their successful graduation flight to Dallas, All had completed our workshop last week with Jorge Sr doing a simulator session as well. Some had never flown prior, others had taken a hiatus from flying for up to 17 years.

May 26. Alex B texted that he and wife were enroute to Mexico City for a landmark family event. Last month he had met with Drs. Hart/Mouton-Odum and myself, completing a graduation flight to Dallas thereafter. Prior, Alex had taken a 6 year hiatus from flying. We all extend a hearty Congrats to Alex!

April 5, 2024. Congrats to Alex B for his graduation flight to Dallas today. Alex had last flown 6 years prior commuting for work between Nebraska and Houston by car-a loooong drive! Alex had met with me (pilot) and Drs. Hart and Mouton-Odum psychologists both in our FOF program. Alex is off to Mexico City in a few weeks! Way to go Alex!!

April 2024. Fear of flying occasionally pops up in the mainstream media. The NY Times today published an article on the excellent BA program in the UK and for which we provided some info.

Anxiety when flying might not seem so unreasonable these days, but a British Airways program seeks to reassure the lightly nervous and the abjectly terrified alike.

Feb 2024. Ashley A acing her solo flight -landing Seattle post-workshop. Ashley had had panic attacks flying and rejected a prior flight. Way to go Ashley!

Feb 2024. Congrats to Lisa B and Sean B on their graduation flight today post this month's workshop. Lisa had not flown for 22 years. They both crossed a difficult hurdle of rejecting prior flight(s) which makes it so much harder in getting on a plane. Yeah! More later on our other grads who are undertaking independent flights.

Dec 2023. A sad but uplifting email from Liz B who completed our workshop a few years back ".. can’t thank you enough for your help with flying. Although tough at times, ..allowed me to visit dad many times the last couple of years since he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He passed this week, and while ..heartbroken, I am forever grateful that I got to spend so much time with him. Thank you!"

Dec 2023. Always nice to see our graduates taking full advantage of their "wings." Chelsie completed our 2023 summer workshop after experiencing extreme flying-related anxiety and had in fact rejected two flights prior. Well she's in Ghana now with her family for Christmas and enjoying every minute. Way to go Chelsie!!
