Amazon TREE (Tropical Rainforest Ecology & Education) Amazon TREE is a student organization at UHCL interested in studying, protecting and understanding Amazon Tropical Rainforest Ecology.

The primary objective of Amazon TREE is to provide a forum for all members working on Amazon research projects, members who have participated on past Amazon trips, members interested in participating in future trips, and for those interested in tropical rainforests, Amazon conservation and ecology.

Our memberships is a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students studying biology, environmental science, environmental toxicology, environmental management, psychology, women's studies, education, business and many more. Amazon TREE extends membership to people who have traveled to Brazil with Amazonia Expeditions.
