Day 4 - It's Black Heritage Day! The weatherman promised some sunshine ☀️ today so grab those sunglasses 🕶️ and head on out to NRG Park for some fun in the sun!!

On the schedule today in NRG Center is the International Brangus, Red Brangus, and Ultra Show - Bulls in the main arena starting at 8:00AM. At 10:00AM in the main arena, the International Brahman Show - Bulls will take place and at 6:00PM, it's the Hard Dog, Fast Dog 🐕 Competition - K9's4Cops. This sounds like a fun event to check out! Over in the east arena, the Junior Breeding Gilt Show will start at 8:00AM. The Santa Gertrudis Sale will be held starting at 6:00PM. The Ranch & Wildlife Expo, located on the second floor of the Center will be opened from 10:00AM - 7:00PM with the Auction taking place starting at 1:00PM.

While you are in the Center today, be sure to head over the Milking Parlor located in AgVenture to catch the Rodeo Read Along 📖put on by the fabulous Trailblazer's Committee. The wonderful event will be held 3 times today - at 2:30PM, 3:30PM, and 4:30PM and is sure to excite all the kids who attend❤️!! Once you have finished the Read Along, you will want to head back out to see the beautiful quilts on display in Hall C. This is also a good place for some photo 📸 opportunities!

Out in NRG Arena, the South Texas Beefmasters Breeders Magic XXIII Sale gets underway at 9:00AM in the Sales Pavilion followed by the South Texas Beefmasters Breeders Futurity and Classic Sale at 1:00PM. Ranch Rodeo - Go Round 1 will start at noon in the arena and Ranch Rodeo - Go Round 2 starts at 7:00PM. The Ranch Rodeo is always fun to check out!

If you get hungry, be sure to check out some of the winners of the 16th Annual Gold Buckle Foodie Awards like the 1st place winner of the Best Fried Foods, The Ultimate Minneapple Pie – The Original Mineapple Pie located in Circle Drive #202 or the 1st place winner of the Best Food on a Stick - 1st Place: Brunch Pops – CornDog with No Name located in The Junction, #303 or the 1st place winner of the Best New Flavor, the Chili Mac Attack Potato – Saltgrass Steak House located in NRG Lobby #63 (this sounds like something you might be able to share!!) If none of this tickles your fancy, grab a Paradise burger 🍔 and a cup of corn 🌽 . You'll be glad you did!

The Champion Wine Garden will open at 2:00 today with Hayden Woollen on the main stage for the matinee show followed by the Zydeco Dots for the evening show. Blake Harlow will perform on the Lonestar Stage starting at 6:00PM. You may also want to check out the fun in the Winemaker's Corner from 4:00PM - 6:00PM where representatives from the Daylight Wine Co. will share samples and information about the wine(s) they represent on the menu.

There is also fun out on the Junction Stage with the Talent Showcase starting at 9:00AM followed by family entertainment from 4:00PM - 7:00PM. The C.I.T.Y. will perform at 7:30PM. While you are out at the Junction Stage, take a moment to check out the Born to Buck display! The horses 🐴 are so beautiful!!

The Junction Carnival 🎠will open at 11:00AM today and the Midway Carnival🎢 will open 4:00PM.

Rodeo action gets underway at 6:45PM with 50 Cent performing on the revolving stage tonight. Before 50 Cent takes the stage, the Jack Yates High School Drumline 🥁 performance will take place! This is sure to get the crowd fired up to see 50 Cent!!

Leon Chavis & the Zydeco Flames will perform in the Hideout tonight starting at 10:15.
