Hurricane Beryl has brought devastation to so many people across the coast. From terrible flooding, power outages, entire structures destroyed, and so much more devastation. It is absolutely heartbreaking what these natural disasters can cause! During times like these community is a very important part of being able to resume daily life for countless people.

Hurricane Beryl, forecast to make landfall tonight in Texas, is now forecast to continue into Illinois or nearby portions of the Ohio Valley midweek as it weakens into a post-tropical depression. Impacts in central IL could be heavy rainfall of a widespread 2-3 inches with locally higher amounts, as well as areas of over 30 mph sustained winds. Keep an eye on the forecast as the track and impacts of this system are refined in the next few days.
