It's a good habit to always travel with a first aid kit and/or medication just in case.

A mini one would be perfect. Fits in your purse or pocket. A few bandages, Neosporin, Alcohol wipes, Benedryl, aspirin, tums maybe.

This comes in handy when you don't have access to a store near by.

In the Kit posted I usually add a few of those small packets of aspirin and Benedryl.

All sunscreen all the time!!

If you are out of the house at all this summer, chances are that sunscreen is high on your family packing list. Whether you are headed to the pool or beach or simply touring around a big city in the summer sun, it is crucial to protect your children and yourself from harmful sun damage.

Frequent travelers should be especially vigilant. If you are headed out for a day of urban sightseeing, for example, you might not realize how much sun exposure you are getting by popping in and out of museums and tourist attractions. Make sure to pack and use your sunscreen no matter where your travels are taking you this summer.

Pre-planning outfits might sound silly but for you clothes lovers out there, it sure saves a lot of time while on vacation. You don't want to be spending time trying to pick the perfect outfit for the day when you could be out relaxing in the sun or doing some fun morning activities. Plus you know what you have and what you will need for what days.

Mix & Matching outfits is a good way to save space while packing. Wear a dress or skirt two days on vaca and put a shirt over the dress or different shirt with the skirt. Wear the same shirt twice with different bottoms. Also no need to bring several swim suites. If you just went to the pool that day for an hour or two just rinse it in the sink when you get back to the room and hang it to dry.
