Think you don't need travel insurance because your credit card has built-in coverage? Keep in mind the coverage you get with your card may not be as robust as with a standalone policy. Many cards offer trip delay and cancellation protection, delayed/lost baggage insurance and car rental insurance, for example, but few cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation or travel accident protection.
