Aimee Perkins, Ashley Collins, Shena Redz and I did a thing last night. . . . We went to the shark tooth jewelry making event hosted by Carolina Home and Garden for Salty Jade Custom Jewelry
We had a great time and I made 2 nice pieces with 2 of my personal teeth. I really enjoyed it. It sparked me to start making some IFAD jewelry! Soon to come!!!! Thank you Shena for my beautiful mermaid duckies, I love her!!!!

In this course we go over a plethora of information with regards to underwater harvesting; both bottom species and pelagic species. We will cover tackle and safety measures as well as maintenance for our Spearfishing gear. Class is held on Friday August 2nd and will begin at 5pm. When the ocean giveth....You give back!
Today we removed a hefty amount of netting from the wreck of the Portland. Even saved a little sea bass that was stuck in it.

Got out for 3 fantastic dives today; first dive at the U-352 with no current and roll in and see the wreck viz. Second and third dives at the Ae**us; not as good viz, but still two amazing dives. First-ever personal AP for one of our hunters and first King Mackerel speared this season. And we have a new Specialty "Wreck" diver today. An all-around fantastic day of diving.

We saw a break in the storm clouds this am and headed out and man did that payoff! Storms stayed inshore and way offshore and we successfully and safely got 3 fantastic dives in today. Dove with lots of sharks and loaded up on pearly whites and tons of shells! Capt Cindy even found a ceramic dinner plate on her 3rd dive. Way to start the week off!!

When politics take over our fisheries remember this........ Lionfish are invasive and are NOT regulated. As a matter of fact, we MUST remove as many of these pesky yet tastey fish as we possibly can! Lionfish can be prepared in a multitude of ways. If you haven't tried this fish, you must do so soon!

Giving our best efforts to Eradicate these tastey ocean varmin. The size of these lionfish is unreal! Gor about 130lbs yesterday. Hoping to remove another 130lb or more today!
