“Sunday Funday” just got better!

The next THREE SUNDAYS are for hunting! You can hunt all game in season except turkeys and migratory game birds on:

🔸 Sunday, Nov. 17

🔸 Sunday, Nov. 24

🔸 Sunday, Dec. 1

If you’re planning to hunt private land on Sunday, make sure to get a permission slip from the landowner before you go. You can find it in the Hunting & Trapping Digest (pg. 4): https://bit.ly/3Yl9J90.

⚠️Attention trail users⚠️

Rifle season kicks off THIS WEEKEND for Junior and Senior hunting license holders. To stay safe while riding the trails, our orange helmet covers are available now at the Old Loggers Trailhead AND the Baker's Hollow Trailhead.

While these covers are free to use, we do ask that you return them after use for the next rider. And, consider dropping a dollar or two in the Friends of Raystown Lake donation box located in the visitor center!

Weather Update...

With Debby Downer raining on our parade the last few days, we've been receiving LOTS of lake questions!

Raystown Lake is currently at normal pool (786 ft.), with the expectation of rising no more than 2 more feet within the next few days. Muddiness and some floating debris are to be expected, as with any significant amount of rainfall. However, flooding has not been reported and is not anticipated at this time.

The WildRiver Waterpark is closed today, but plans to re-open tomorrow (12-6pm). However, all other Lake Raystown Resort stores, activities, eateries and accommodations are currently OPEN!

For further updates on lake conditions, please feel free to check in with the Raystown Lake, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers! Happy Camping!

Fish-for-Free Days allow anyone to legally fish on Pennsylvania waterways with no fishing license required.
