🚢 For being the oldest ship in the Carnival fleet, the Sunshine left me pleasantly surprised! You can see her age in some areas but overall she’s lovely and I would definitely choose the Sunshine again on a different itinerary after she moves to Norfolk, VA next year.

In just three days I’ll be boarding Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas and the objective is simple: learn as much as I can about cruising on Royal Caribbean.

Because it’s our first cruise, my husband and I have decided to treat this trip more like a floating all-inclusive resort. We’re not planning to get off of the ship at Port Canaveral and maybe only for a little bit in Nassau (we’ve been there before). We’re going to completely immerse ourselves in getting to experience all we can over the week so I can better advise those guests interested in sailing with Royal Caribbean.

☀️ The solarium on Symphony of the Seas aka the adults only area that I will be frequenting during our kid-free cruise in June. So lovely.
