If you are ever in Huntsville, AL and enjoy British food, then a visit to The Poppy and Parliment is in order. Pet friendly porch and amazing Illy cold brew (not pictured because I sucked it down so fast). Food was authentic. Upstairs they have a little butcher shop. We will go again for sure.

Phase 2 has started of our transition.
We sold our sticks and bricks late August with the intent of buying land. That is no longer the plan so we pivot. After 6 weeks at an RV park near Birmingham, we are now house sitting for a relative until mid December.
Phase 3 will be 2 1/2 weeks in Europe for Christmas 🎄
Phase 4 will commence early January and I can’t wait to share the details.

Great little path at Palomino RV Resort in Cullman, AL.
Small park with about 50 spots, basketball, tennis, dog park, and kayak pond. Very clean and level spots. Close to 65 for easy on and off freeway access. Would stay again for sure.

Such a great paved path to it was about a mile and a quarter loop with just enough incline to make you feel like you worked for it. It was a 10/10 Chester approved.

This has been our morning view for a month. We leave tomorrow.
I’ll miss being next to the water as it was balm to my soul for this transition.
We knew we would be in the rv for a short season, but we have found ourselves with no end date. So much peace around that, which for me (Katey) an Ennegram 6 and closet Prepper, is only from God.
We will house sit for 2 months and then 2 weeks in Europe over Christmas. After that we don’t know. One thing for certain? We need a bigger rv 😂 20ft with a Murphy bed is not going to cut it.

We are so sad to miss the we were a little busy selling our sticks and bricks and moving out.
Any tips for full time in a 20ft with no slides? Thankful it’s only a month before we get a bigger rig.

We are hoooooome.
Do you unload right away or get settled at home and wait?
We prefer right away (same with suitcases if we have flown)
Laundry is started
Fridge and freezer stuff is put away
RV bed stripped
Now to put her away until the next adventure.
