Hello all ‐ just wanted to share some up-to-date information with everyone regarding our future Carnival cruise bookings.
We are all very eager to resume cruising and taking to the seas! However, the effect COVID-19 has had on the world has changed the process for cruising quite drastically, and we want to fill you in on some of the gray areas.
For starters, we are not anti-vax or pro-vax, we are pro-choice in regards to deciding what to do for your own safety and well-being.
That being said, CRUISING IS OPEN and we are still currently booking our cruises for the 2022 season as planned. It is looking more and more promising that we will see the vaccination requirement for cruising be redacted soon which will make booking and the logistics much easier for EVERYONE.
However, currently YOU NEED to be FULLY VACCINATED in order to sail. That means both doses received and proper cards and paperwork has been received. This needs to be done in order to book and take full advantage of the cruise and their excursions.
If you are not fully vaccinated you will need to submit a request to be apart of the 5% of passengers that are permitted to be unvaccinated. Acceptance into this group of passengers is highly unlikely and typically is reserved for youth 12 and under or passengers with special needs.
If you book a cruise with us (we hope you do!) and are not fully vaccinated, do not get accepted into the 5% group, and cancel your cruise.. you will be FULLY REFUNDED or given a FUTURE CRUISE CREDIT (FCC) from the cruise line. Of course should this happen we will assist you all to the best of our abilities to make sure you receive your refund or FCC.
If you have any questions or any special circumstance not discussed here, PLEASE contact us at travelanddivetoday.com and we will respond promptly.
Thank you everyone and we hope to sail with you in January!
Cruises offer great bang for your buck. Fares typically include nearly everything you'll need for a fantastic trip! Food, accommodations, daytime and evening entertainment, as well as transportation between destinations.
