Not one photo will do this place justice,, but here are some pics of the Grand Canyon north rim. It was amazing!!! The drive was about 2.5 hours from home and surprisingly not as crowded as we expected. If you haven’t been there it’s a must see adventure.

Top Of The World
First time talking our CanAm to The Top of the World near Sand Hollow. Not sure why we waited so long. It was WOW!!!! There’s not a picture out there that can do it justice. There was a lot a beautiful areas that we did not get a chance to experience, so we’ll have to go back soon. It was a fun adventure!

A great hike on Thursday at Fort Pierce. Rudy and I didn’t realize it was such a beautiful area with easy trails. We hiked a mile in and a mile out and truly enjoyed the beauty of this beautiful area.

Rudy and I are trying to keep retirement from making us soft. Did the Angels Landing Hike today. It was breathtaking in more ways than one. Did my heart some good and my spirits too. The weather was perfect, and sites were INCREDIBLE! It is definitely a challenging hike. My legs were like jello on the way down, but it was very worth it!!

This is a great place! We ordered their combo meal that feeds 6 people and the portions were very generous. Food was yummy!

50° and sunshine. A perfect day for a hike. Cinder Knoll Trail is here in Hurricane. There’s seems to always be a place here we haven’t adventured to yet, and this one was pretty cool!

Last day of sunshine and warm weather, before we get another snow storm. We decided to check out this fascinating area in St. George. This is the most petroglyphs we’ve ever seen in one place. It was awesome!

A short break from the cold weather. This place is called “Natures Hot Tub”. The water pools in the rock formations, and with our abundance of cold weather the holes were still filled with ice on this warm day. It was a fun little adventure about 30 minutes from our home.

The new year is here, and we’ve decided to make some Ranger Resolutions. Today’s resolution: Look for beauty all around us.

Sometimes, finding beauty can be easy. For example, here at Zion we know we’re incredibly lucky to have views like this one from our backyard! But the components of Zion—rocks, trees, water, birds, clouds, and so much more—are all over the world, in an incredible diversity of shapes, sizes, and colors.

So, as we sit solidly in the cold month of January, when many of us are , what do you notice around you? Maybe it’s a sweeping vista in your hometown. Maybe it’s the way that the light is hitting a certain leaf on the sidewalk. Maybe it’s a particularly interesting rock. What’s your backyard beauty? Bonus points is you share a photo!

Top of Knoll Hill.
Looking out my kitchen window is this Lil hill. Called Knoll Hill. Decided to hike it today on this cloudy afternoon to see the views from the top. Not so little. Heart was pounding, legs burning, felt invigorated. The views at the top were awesome! Even with the clouds. Great views in all directions. Sand Hollow, Quail Creek, Mollys Ni**le, Hurricane Cliffs, and even Zions. Looking forward to hiking it again when the sun is shining , and also getting some more pics, and working those legs and heart again!
