We’re excited to introduce the Garrison Brothers Cooking Class—an interactive four-course cooking demonstration, led by Executive Chef Jack Mac and his team, showcasing the art of cooking with the rich notes of Garrison Brothers Bourbon. Join us at the new Showbarn Bar on March 13th from 6:00-7:45 PM for an evening of bold flavors and true Texas hospitality.

This year, we’re proud to feature 11 different Balmorhea Cask Strength Single Barrels, available only at this event. These bottles are a tribute to Texas tradition and a testament to our commitment to protecting the wild beauty of our great state. Proceeds will benefit Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, funding their mission to conserve the wild things and wild places of Texas.
We’ve got an unforgettable day planned, packed with all things TEXAS and BALMORHEA. Enjoy line dancing, custom cowboy hat fittings, a Hay-less Hayride Distillery Tour, and much more. Sip on our signature Balmorhea Old Fashioned and savor specially crafted dishes from the Whiskey Shack. Plus, we’ll have live music from Jeremy Parsons from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and Noah Kurtis from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
This event is free and open to the public. Unlike other releases, this will not be a drive-through event. You’ll park and have the opportunity to personally select the bottle of Balmorhea Bourbon Single Barrel at Cask Strength you’d like to take home.

Welcome to the home of the first legal bourbon distillery in Texas and a 5-time American Whisky of the Year.
So savor every sip and take your time with this one; after all, we took ours. outhern hospitality. When you’re here, you feel a welcoming Texas spirit, right along with the aroma of sweet mash cooking up the sugary start of the tasty bourbon. We conduct distillery tours at 10, noon 2 and 4. You don’t have to take a tour to taste our bourbon though. We are serving tastings and cocktails at our Hospitality Cabin Wednesday through Sunday from 10 to 5. Our award-winning bourbon whiskey is amber-crimson like a Texas sunset. Darker, richer and fuller than any bourbon out there. The golden nectar is heat-forged in the scorching Texas sun, aging chaotically inside custom-made oak barrels. All the while, the liquid inside is getting pushed deeper and deeper into our white oak barrel’s pores, soaking up its buttery caramel and vanilla flavors, amber color, and earthy texture. When it does eventually cool down, the bourbon escapes the wood and returns to the inside of the barrel, taking these delicious flavors along with it and transforming the liquid into the Nectar of the Gods.
Garrison Brothers is bold, proud, and authentic. It’s homegrown and handcrafted from the finest ingredients. One thing is certain: Life is simply too short to waste on inferior whiskey.
