Another Great Race for Education has passed and what an event! Thank you to everyone who played a part - volunteers, runners, owners, sponsors, raffle donors and more! We will announce the amount raised soon. Just so you know, it wasn't far off last year's record-breaking year!

This DISADVANTAGE is a real drag. The team to whom you give this curse will have to carry a not-so-light chest (an actual piece of luggage) with them the entire course. There will be a pole on each side to help carry it, but, sheesh, how awkward!

Ah, yes, the classic 2-minute delay DISADVANTAGE. This is sure to take the wind out someone’s sails. Once the opening challenge is completed, the team who ends up with this will have to stand around for 2 minutes before they can be on their merry way!

This ADVANTAGE is where your team of four runners, once they finish the opening challenge, will be DRIVEN to their first destination in a CEI vehicle. The runners will have to tell the driver where to go. The driver WILL NOT tell runners the destination's location.

Eww…no one is going to want to get this DISADVANTAGE. Once the opening challenge is completed, the team who ends up with this will have to juice a bag of oranges by hand into a provided receptacle before they can start running. Though pleasantly fragrant, the stickiness and discomfort could last a fortnight – or at least until there’s a chance to hose off – and you never know what kind of vermin it will attract. Crikey!

This DISADVANTAGE is where you get to send a team of your choosing off course by a quarter mile, or thereabouts, after they finish the opening challenge. In essence, they will have to run a quarter to half mile farther than any other team. Which team do you want to be blasted off course? Think hard about that one!
