Challenge yourself and take ziplining to a whole new level with a Via Ferrata trip. This type of activity is newer to the adventure scene but yields breathtaking views as you traverse your way among the mountaintops.
The newest addition to AVA’s adventure lineup is the Granite Via Ferrata course in Buena Vista. You can spend a morning or afternoon high above the Arkansas River Valley with breathtaking views of the Collegiate Peaks on this 3-hour long excursion. Make your way along the granite cliffside, venture across a handful of suspended bridges, push your limits on a 60-foot free fall, and more!
AVA’s Mount Evans Via Ferrata course is located just 30 minutes west of Denver in Idaho Springs. As you gaze among the Continental Divide in the distance, you’ll scale the cliffside on iron rungs, rappel down a 70-foot rock face, brave a 50-foot free fall, and finish up your adventure with a few ziplines back down to the outpost. You’ll feel accomplished as you set foot back onto the ground below.
