Just to update everyone I am not booking or running any charter trips in Washington in 2023. I will be in Alaska all summer and hope everyone has a great summer and fishing season.

Booking halibut (few seats left) keeper sturgeon (few seats left) and bottom fishing (by the boat only) in May and up until June 15…lings and sea bass on all bottom fish trips…contact me now at [email protected]. I am not booking any fall salmon or tuna trips this year until the end of sept unless the fish are still around…I am staying in alaska until late sept this year.

If you are thinking about a crab trip this year I highly suggest you look at booking before Nov 27th. With the closures in alaska the market is bare so commercial prices should be high (good for them) and I have heard with good intel that the commercial fleet may drop at 9am Nov 28th . Weather has been horrible this year so far with lots of cancellations but its all we have to work with…contact me at [email protected]

I know its only Sept and we still have some fish to catch but its time to start thinking CRABS! I will be running crab charters November and December out of Ilwaco. Its a 12 crab per person limit, $108 per per person, 6 persons max…tie this in with a clam dig and have a great day! Running 7 days per week, weather permitting .

4 seats this Saturday for ocean salmon out of Ilwaco (coho and chinook)….$200 per seat tax included….. catcing has been 100% so far for limits….heard ocean was closing Sunday so this could be it out of Ilwaco this season for salmon…contact me asap…leaving dock at 8am on saturday…

Sounds like tuna fishing is picking up pretty quickly…got Aug 23-26 wide open for full boat bookings…should be red hot by then…let me know if interested. I start fishing Aug 15th…salmon is also an option …full boat bookings available

Its time to start thinking Tuna…I am running Mid August through the end of Sept this year. I still have lots and lots of dates open but interest is starting to pick up. Over the Memorial Day Holiday, WDFW Sergeant Rosenberger was contacted by an Olympic National Park Ranger. They raised concerns over a person creating an ATV trail meant to access and steal cedar from the National Park near Lake Crescent. The Ranger had set a trail camera and had pictures of the man using the quad and a trailer to haul the cedar blocks out with. Sergeant Rosenberger set a cellular trail camera on State DNR land that the suspect was using to access the Park from. On Tuesday night, Officer Hillman via the cellular game camera, observed the suspect hiking in wearing a logging helmet and head lamp. Olympic National Park Rangers responded and apprehended the man in the act, and a search incident to arrest yielded methamphetamine on the suspect.

Left the dock at 8:15 am this morning to find a sloppy ride west. The original plan was to get some halibut then go for deep water bottom fish but it was a little sloppier than I had expected. We decided to play it safe and just grab some halibut and head back in for a 12:45 arrival at the dock....great crew and and just had some awesome fresh halibut tacos for dinner! Thank you to everyone that fishes with me I sincerely appreciate it.
