I saw trash on the shore of Tomahawk Creek today. Looked like a Wendy’s bag and hamburger wrapper plus a drink. It was tossed on the River shore.
Thank goodness I didn’t see any paper Dixie cups on the ground. When people throw paper cups on the ground and don’t pick them up, it can cause a shift in the environment of microorganisms. We can’t see them. Trash causes birds to choke. They think it’s tissue paper. It can kill them. Animals can die from trash due to it not being swallowed and choke. The list goes on. So please think before you throw on the ground.
I was shocked by what I saw. Still can’t believe it.
