A massive IT outage is impacting airlines, airports, and more worldwide, which means today is one of those travel days where we’re reminded of those things over which we have no control.
Things you CAN do as this resolves (and it *will* resolve!):
✅ Stay Informed: Regularly check for updates from airlines and airports. Use airline apps and follow their social media channels for the latest information.
✅ Be patient and flexible: Understand that delays and cancellations are beyond anyone's control during an IT outage.
✅ Keep essential items handy: Have necessary medications, important documents, chargers, and a change of clothes in your carry-on bag in case of extended delays.
✅ Optimize that lounge access: Now’s the time to get comfortable. You’ll likely have lots of company — so remember a little kindness towards staff and fellow travelers goes a long way.
✅ Know your rights: Get familiar with airline policies on delays and cancellations. and where you're entitled to compensation or rebooking assistance.
✅ Stay calm and courteous: Airline and airport staff are working hard to resolve issues. Truly.

My family's recent vacation to Tulum,Mexico, was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Amidst sports seasons and busy work schedules, we found paradise at the Mexico/ Riviera Maya/ Grand Palladium Kantenah Resorts & SPA.

The weather was impeccable, and company was delightful as we soaked up the sun and indulged in abundant food and adventures. From exploring the Tulum Mayan Ruins to Cenotes Casa Tortuga Tulum each day brought new thrills.

Balancing relaxation by the pool with beach strolls, our evenings were filled with disco parties and heartfelt family dinners, fostering cherished conversations. Pickleball matches added a touch of playfulness to our days, while venturing to 5th street in downtown Tulum provided opportunities to savor Mexican cuisine and immerse ourselves in local culture. Although the week flew by the memories created will be treasured for a lifetime.
