Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. Beautiful morning on the beach. I’ve personally rented chairs all over the Caribbean and I believe this set up is as good or better than any of them. Some clouds and some sun. A little breezy from the south and no rain in the forcast. Temps in the mid 70’s on the coast and 80’s inland. Overall really nice beach conditions. Have a great day!

Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. Starting out mostly cloudy, cool and an offshore breeze. Forecast calls for more sun later and a very slight chance of a passing shower. The wind pattern has changed and will be mostly offshore throughout the day. With the offshore breeze, we should be able to avoid any sea fog. If you’re looking ahead to your weekend plans Saturday looks to be the better of the two with decent rain chances on Sunday. Have a great day!

Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. Starting out with some clouds and some sun, comfortable, and breezy. Forecast calls for mostly sunny and just a very slight chance of a passing shower but nothing to schedule around. We will have a steady south wind to work around so we went with cabanas on a north tilt. Umbrellas will be a challenge today. Warming up to upper 70’s on the coast and warmer inland. Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. First, Happy Anniversary to my wife Teresa. Thank you for all that you do for our family and the Beachcrew. We love and appreciate you. Second, after almost 5 months today we are officially open again. Thank you all for the comments, support, and encouragement. Today we feel very fortunate to be back to work. On the beach we are starting out with clear skies, a bright sun and breezy. Warming up into the mid 70s on the beach and warmer for inland areas. We expect the south wind to be persistent today so we went with cabanas with a tilt to the north. Can’t rule out some sea fog later in the day but for now the coast is clear. Good to back. Have a great day!

Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. Starting out with some clouds and some sun. Lite breeze and comfortable. Warming up into the 70s on the coast and warmer inland. Southwest wind could bring a little sea fog, but that should be later in the day. Overall starting to feel like Florida again. We spent the day yesterday moving our equipment back into position on the beach. Today is a day of cleaning and should be ready to go in the morning. Have a great day!

Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. Super Bowl Sunday starting out with clear skies, bright sun, and a lite breeze. Warming up into the mid 70’s with no rain in the forcast. With the south breeze we could have a chance of some off and on sea fog but shouldn’t be a big issue. Overall really nice conditions. Our plans remain the same to be back open on Wednesday. Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. Starting out with some clouds and some sun. Similar to yesterday temps around 70. Slight chance of rain but nothing to schedule around. A little cooler on the coast than inland area’s but the warming trend continues this week. We are getting really close to nice beach conditions. I am going to take a few days off from the daily report as we prepare to get ready for season and back open on February 12th. Look forward to seeing you all on the beach very soon. Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. As expected a weak front moved through the area overnight. Not a big change, but starting out cooler with more clouds than the last couple days with a breeze from the north. A slight chance of a shower at some point but nothing to schedule around. Forcast calls for more clouds than sun and temps around 70 this afternoon. Overall doable but not ideal beach conditions. Have a great day!

Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. Today’s beach forecast is a little bit tricky. The wind will be out of the south, which is typically a warm pattern. On the flipside if the wind is slightly out of the southwest and coming off the water, it could get chilly and foggy on the coast. This morning it is mild and an offshore breeze, but we can see some sea fog out in the Gulf. So moral of the story is it’s a fine line on exactly which direction the wind comes from later in the day. No rain in the forecast and expected to warm up to the low 70s. Have a great day!

Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 8th Avenue. Early this morning we had some fog around the coast, but it seems to be clearing up. The winds are forcasted to be offshore most of the day so if that holds true, it will keep the coast clear. Later in the day I would expect a seabreeze which will make it cooler on the beach than inland areas. Warming up to around 70 and no rain in the forecast. Have a great day!

Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. Starting out with some clouds and some sun. Mild and no breeze to speak of. Something interesting about this time of year on the beach is that in a lot of cases the first half of the day is better than later in the day. It’s typical for us to get a Seabreeze in the afternoon and that makes it cooler on the coast. Water temperature is in the mid to upper 50s so when the breeze is coming off of the water, it can get a little chilly. Yesterday we had some sea fog in the afternoon and wouldn’t be surprised to see some of that again later today. Overall, the forecast does call for the warming trend to continue through the weekend and into next week. Just a quick reminder about our service we plan to reopen on February 12th. Goodmorning IRB! Daily beach report from 17th Ave. Starting out cold with clear skies and a lite breeze. Currently 37 degrees but warming up some today to around 60. No rain in the forcast but with the north wind not ideal beach conditions. Some of you have been asking about our beach service. The walkways are clear and the parking lot is open. Our official re-open date is scheduled for Feb 12th. Getting the Beachcrew back together and looking forward to getting back to work. Have a great day!

Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. Cold morning on the beach. Currently 37 degrees with a north wind. Similar to yesterday maybe getting to 50 but that’s about it. Warming up some in the coming days and into next week. Pic today shows the new way to access the beach without the wooden walkways. Beach looks good and is ready for some warm weather. Good morning IRB! Daily Beach report from 17th Ave. Not exactly sure where to start, but I’ll try and explain it exactly how I see it. Beach is underwater, raining, very windy, and obviously the Gulf is very rough. The water is reaching the dunes and still working our way to high tide midday. Unfortunately it would appear we lost the unhatched turtle nests with the high tide. Driving to the beach, there is plenty of debris, but I see the City of IRB employees already out working on cleanup. From what I understand quite a few people are out of power in town and I also seen the energy trucks around. Conditions don’t improve a whole lot today with more rain and 35 to 50 mile an hour consistent winds. Going to take awhile for everything to settle down and get back to normal. Not sure what the Beach will look like when the Gulf settles down and probably won’t know until later this week. It’s all a mess, but looking on the bright side, it could have been worse. We will check back in later and continue with the updates. Thanks and have a great day.
