Day 6 - Curacao 🏝️⚓️☀️
We did not pre-book activities for Curacao. Instead I had a list of places to see, beaches to visit, and a few foods to try 🏝️🛳️⚓️🌊
It was a very hot day. The hottest day of the trip. So we made our way to Mambo beach, about 20 minutes from the port. I recommend planning to arrive early, as it does get crowded. The waters are calm and even though they look shallow, it does get deep. It was a perfect spot to relax and stay cool. ☀️🏝️💦🌊🤿 This beach had everything - food, drinks, chairs, bars, and shopping. It was also super easy to get a taxi 🏖️☀️🤿🦀🐠
Later in the afternoon we stopped in the town of Willemstad and shopped, walked across Queen Emma Bridge, and explored Rif Fort. Willemstad is a cute town with lots of colorful buildings and can easily be explored on foot, unless its 97 degrees 🤣☀️🥵💦☀️⚓️🛳️🤭🔥
We have loved our time exploring the ABC islands AND the extended time in these ports has been AWESOME.

Day 5 - Bonaire 🦩🤿🌊☀️🛳️
Exploring the ABC islands 🏝️
We started our morning in Bonaire on a small group cave adventure where we explored two dry caves and one wet/dry cave, one of which we used a rope to repel down. The caves were steep and narrow and completely dark, needing flashlights to find our way around. It was challenging at times, but an adventure we will always remember. This was a favorite for us!! And our Shore Excursions group tour guide was amazing.

The second part of our day was exploring the south end of the island by golf cart. We stopped at the salt pyramids, the slave huts, the lighthouse, and to take a few pictures of the flamingos and wild donkeys roaming the island. We also stopped at two beaches along the way to 🤿snorkel.
Bonaire was our FAVORITE port. 🏝️☀️🫏🦩🤿❤️🛳️⚓️

Day 4 - Aruba 🏝️🌊🤿
Known as “ one happy island”
We started our day in Aruba on a North Coast Jeep Safari where we took an adventure through rocky and bumpy trails. Everyone loved the bouncy ride and the views as we rode along the coast. We explored Ayo Rock Formations where we walked a trail through narrow tunnels and saw ancient paintings carved into the rocks.
Next stop was the natural bridge and baby bridge, naturally formed from coral limestone. We also stopped by Alto Vista Chapel, the California lighthouse, and Bushiribana gold mine ruins. We ended our tour at Arashi Beach. The calm and relaxing beach was the perfect ending to our morning.

Since we had almost 14 hours to explore Aruba we decided to grab lunch on the ship and take a taxi to Eagle Beach, only 3 miles from port. Eagle Beach is stunning. The beach wasn’t crowded and the teal waters were calm and lined with white soft sand. 🏝️ 🌊☀️🤿
We enjoyed the breeze and several hours of swimming and lounging on the beach.

Exploring our ship, trying some new foods, and lots of time in the sun. There are 3 main pools for families to enjoy, plus the Serenity pool and Havana pool. AND lots of hot tubs!!! As well as a waterpark at sea, putt-putt, a ropes course, a roller coaster at sea, and much much more!!!

Carnival Celebration has a lot of options for meals too AND it’s all been delicious.
Aside from the main dining room, you can also enjoy Guys Pig and Anchor for dinner and the first time at Cucina Del Capitano (Italian) and Chibang (Chinese and Mexican) are complimentary as well. Plus many other food options for lunch and dinner. So many options, I can’t list them all.
