We only wish we could stay a bit longer, but are grateful for the time away soaking in the sun and precious time together as a family! After a long day of travel, we arrived via boat and rental car to Jose Ignacio, Uruguay! We are loving the beachy vibes and had an awesome dinner at La Susana while digging our feet into the sand! 🚢🚙🌊☀️🏝️🍣🍹🇺🇾❤️

Happy New Year from Buenos Aires! Yesterday we took in as many historic sites (and cafes) as we could before heading to ring in the new year at Madero Tango. It was like attending a wedding and sitting at a table without knowing anyone….or speaking their language….but we quickly made new lifelong friends with beautiful humans from Brazil! We will never forget this New Year’s Eve celebration and are so grateful for this amazing getaway to Argentina and beyond! 🕺🏻💃🥂🎉🎆🎇❤️

Today we explored the MALBA art museum including works by Frida Kahlo, took a tour of Boca Juniors soccer stadium, explored Caminito and the colorful streets of La Boca, and ended the day with an Argentinian dinner at La Cabrera!! We are loving the vibrant lifestyle and hospitality in Buenos Aires and can’t wait for what the rest of our adventure holds! Today we took a private day trip tour of the Tigre Delta and the Rio de la Plata, the world’s largest river! Our tour guide, Rosa, was a wealth of knowledge, and we enjoyed lunch in Tigre, famous for its rowing clubs and restaurants. We ended the day back in Palermo for a self guided tour of its murals and graffiti walls….as well as amazing dining, drinks, and helados! Until tomorrow! BA, you have my ❤️! From a morning run through Bosques De Palermo, exploring Recoleta and the Recoleta Cemetery, visiting Recoleta’s Sunday market and supporting some amazing local artists, taking a tour of the world renowned Teatro Colón opera house, searching for the best new read in the infamous El Ateneo bookstore, checking out the Obelisk national monument of Buenos Aires, eating and drinking our way through the city and discovering helados ice cream at Rapanui, to exploring the vibrant colors of Palermo at night…..we are taking it ALL in! Happy Tuesday from Create Custom Travel! 🍁✨ In this month of gratitude, we’re thrilled to share a wonderful review from Jeff Wilson and his family after their unforgettable Fall Break trip to Acadia National Park. 🌄🍂 From savoring a meal at the iconic Jordan Pond House 🥧, taking in the views atop Cadillac Mountain, and indulging in fresh lobster on a scenic pier 🦞, to kayaking around the rugged Porcupine Islands 🛶, the Wilsons enjoyed every moment. Their adventure continued with rock climbing near the dramatic sea cliffs 🧗‍♂️, biking historic carriage roads 🚴, and even catching the magical Northern Lights! 🌌✨

Today we wrapped up our time in Glacier National Park. We loved spending the past few days exploring the Many Glacier entrance, including the Grinnell Lake hike complete with a moose spotting, as well as the adorable town of Whitefish!

We head for home today and are beyond grateful for another epic National Park adventure! Banff, Jasper, and Glacier wowed us from start to finish. More than anything, we are forever thankful for time off the grid as a family. It’s a needed reminder of how much I cherish my little nucleus and our adventures together. 🥾🎒🏔️🇨🇦☀️🚠💙🙌

After a long day of travel, we crossed the border from Canada to the US and arrived in Whitefish, Montana last night. Today we entered Glacier National Park and explored the iconic Going-to-the-Sun Road. Our favorite hikes were the Highline and Hidden Lake Trails, complete with waterfalls, mountain goats, and bear spottings. We ended the day refueling at Herb at Omni and can’t wait for more Glacier adventures tomorrow! 🏔️🎒🥾❤️

Italian for “iron road”, Via Ferrata is an assisted climbing experience along 5 breathtaking routes on the cliffs above Mt Norquay. Today, we took this challenge on and climbed ladders, crossed suspension bridges, and marveled at the grandeur of the mountain vistas that surrounded us in Banff National Park! We relaxed afterwards in the beautiful town of Banff and have loved every minute of our Canadian adventures! 🥾🏔️🚠🎒🇨🇦❤️🙌

We packed as much into our last day in Jasper National Park as possible! Aaron and I started our day with a long hike in search of iconic red Adirondack chairs at the summit and found them! We rented a 4 person SUP at Beauvert Lake and gave the kids a chance to discover a polar plunge. The Jasper SkyTram was worth the trip for the epic views, trying poutine at the Summit Restaurant, and teaching Izzie how to play euchre! We ended the day with trying another Canadian culinary delight, Beaver Tails, before heading to Aalto Pyramid Lake restaurant at Pyramid Lake for the best dinner to date! We will miss this epic NP but can’t wait for more adventures tomorrow! 🥾🎒🇨🇦🌊🚣🏻‍♀️🛶🚠🏔️🧀🍷🌄❤️

A boat tour of Maligne Lake and Spirit Island were the highlight of our day in Jasper National Park! We also were in awe of the wildlife that showed up to say hello from bald eagles, elk, loons, caribou, moose, to a grizzly bear! We kept our eyes peeled to our surroundings and weren’t disappointed! Thanks for an outstanding first day, Jasper NP! 🏔️🌊🚤🐃🐻🦅🎒🇨🇦❤️

We spent the day journeying from Banff to Jasper National Park via the iconic Icefields Parkway! Rated as one of the most beautiful drives in the world, we took our time stopping at breathtaking spots on this highway winding along the Continental Divide. We marveled at the Canadian Rockies and all of the mountain peaks, ice fields, sweeping valleys, and wildlife.

We stopped off at Columbia Icefield and rode an Ice Explorer onto Athabasca Glacier before admiring views of the valley from a glass bottomed skywalk. We eventually arrived at our home for the next three nights, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, and we are stoked to explore all Jasper National Park has to offer!

We spent our last day at Lake Louise exploring nearby trails and taking in the unreal colors of all the glacier fed lakes. Aaron and I got another early morning hike in to Fairview Overlook and the Paradise Valley Trail before the kids joined us to hike to Mirror Lake and Lake Agnes, complete with a stop at the Lake Agnes Tea House to refuel. I joined Aaron for a polar plunge into Lake Louise afterwards and may be the newest fan and believer in ice baths! We are so grateful for our time in beautiful Banff National Park and can’t wait for the adventures that await!
