Thankfully this is rare (I hope) but watch your belongs as best you can while going thru TSA airport screenings. On a recent trip the tray containing my tote bag and purse were flagged for additional screening both at London Heathrow and also at Houston airport. Sometimes the lines back up due to shortages of screening officers and screenings turn up nothing just a tightly packed bag and sometimes it the free can of Coke from the United Lounge that your hubby put in it that you didn't see... We certainly appreciate the necessity of careful screening but I also watch my bags as closely as humanly possible because there are potential thieves and criminals out there as documented in this article.
