It's halfway to the holidays and Walt Disney World is getting ready! JUST ANNOUNCED....

🌲🎄 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is returning to the Magic Kingdom November 8 and running on select nights through December 20. The party will be from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m to a limited number of guests. Disney resort guests will be able to purchase tickets starting on July 2. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10.
The dates for the Very Merry Christmas Party are:
November 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20

🌲🎄Over at Hollywood Studios guests will be able to enjoy Jollywood Nights November 9 through December 21. Guests can get holly and jolly for five festive hours from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. during this limited capacity, separately ticketed event.
Dates for this event are:
November 9, 13, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30
December 2, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21

I am home from my 4th trip to Walt Disney World in 8 weeks and I thought I would share a few thoughts…

Walt Disney World is fun;
🩷 With new friends, old friends, sisters, husbands, young kids, old kids, your kid's friends and family,
🧡 At sun up or sun down,
🩵 At any Disney resort, (although I prefer the EPCOT resorts area with Boardwalk, Beach Club and Riviera rounding out my personal top 3!),
💛 At any Disney park (but EPCOT is still my personal favorite),
🤍 On a college budget or splurging with your family,
💜 Creating new memories or reliving old ones,
💙 At low season (May through August are AMAZING and if you don’t believe me - GO!),
💚 and even in the heat!

I have so many great memories from the past few weeks, it is hard to share them all. If you don’t have a trip planned for your family, don’t wait. The years are fleeting and the kids grow fast, create memories today that will last a lifetime ❤️

The Boardwalk Inn probably has one of my favorite Club Lounges on property! In addition to standard concierge rooms with two queen beds, this resort also features a few really neat options. 24 little cottages sit in the most adorable courtyard - these cottages sleep 2 and are perfect for a special celebration. I was also able to tour the 2-bedroom Sonora VP Suite - absolutely beautiful!

The location of the Boardwalk Inn is amazing, walkable to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, so concierge room or not, this resort is a fantastic choice for families looking to stay right in the heart of the magic!

FUN FACT - The Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs resort opened in July 2019 and was inspired by the short film Destino. While Destino was released in 2003, creation of the film began in 1945 with the collaboration of Walt Disney and Salvador Dali.

Coronado Springs is the only moderate resort with a concierge lounge, fitness center and convention facilities. The Gran Destino Tower really is something special - photos below of the Presidential Suite (one can dream!), concierge lounge, lobby and standard room show it's beauty. The proximity of this resort to Wide World of Sports makes it a great resort when visiting Disney for competitions and events and is my resort of choice when I attend the National College Cheer Competition each winter.

Where are my last minute travelers?! I say this every year, but June through September are choice months for Walt Disney World travel! Low fares on flights, plentiful rooms with discounts and low crowds - what is not to like? In one short week I will depart on my 4th WDW trip in 8 weeks - this many trips is a short amount of time is atypical for me, but keep this in mind.... if your travel planner is visiting the parks, maybe you should too! Wow! The new Polynesian Tower looks amazing! The new 10-story tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows are set to open Dec 2024.

The Island Tower will feature room categories that will sleep 1-9 guests… Studios, 1&2 bedroom villas and brand new two-bedroom penthouse villas.

Reservations open June 6! So reach out to me soon if you would like to explore this resort for your next Walt Disney World stay.
