Fast growing vacation rental company, with a range of moderate to high-end homes looking for an Estate Manager to join their operations team and assume the responsibilities listed below and providing quality services to our guests that stay in the vacation rental homes we manage throughout the Coachella Valley.
The position consists of a working holidays, weekends, local event times and varies based on seasonal demand. Requires a self-starting, proactive individual who is extremely service-oriented, hyper organized and has a keen eye for detail. A team player always eager to help guests, homeowners, and co-workers alike.
The ideal candidate must be trustworthy and have hotel and/or estate management, and diverse customer service experience. Must be able to complete key aspects of vacation rental management, including: guest check-in with a guided tour of the amenities and features of their vacation home, respond to guest requests and inquires, and promote a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Guests and homeowners have come to expect a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and effective communication from Palm Springs Vacation Homes. Candidate must also have some basic household repair and maintenance experience along with being able to trouble shoot issues that happen during a guest stay.
Some properties allow larger-scale events throughout the year including weddings, after-parties, etcetera. In preparing for these events, the ideal candidate will serve as a guest concierge, offer to help set up a range of services (tables, chairs, security, valet, etc.). Should a neighbor call to voice a noise complaint, a party grow to exceed the occupancy limits, or a guest become displeased with their stay, the ideal candidate will manage any situation to ensure the stay runs smoothly.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Overseeing, promoting, and coordinating guest services.
•Greeting, touring, and ensuring a smooth check-in
•Responding to guest needs and inquiries
•Inspecting and reporting on property condition after guest’s check-out
•Ensure housekeeping services are completed with the best quality of work and adherence to household standards and expectations. Homes should always be ready for guests
•Recognize and understand when you are out of your field of experience and arrange for consultation and advice when needed
•Organizing and managing household inventories; creating and updating logs and list for household requirement/supplies where/when needed
•Assist with errands and shopping, stocking and restocking shelves
•Weekly meeting to determine priorities
•Accept and accomplish special assignments when designated by CEO, CFO, and Directors
*Answering the phones and assisting guests with reservations and inquiries on the weekend.
*Reliable source of transportation.
*Able to work the morning shift and/or the afternoon shift.
