Turtle release! June 29th at 10AM. 🐢

We are excited to share that we have scheduled a last-minute sea turtle release! Please join us at 10:00am tomorrow morning (Wednesday, June 29th) at Inlet Beach as we wish some of our current patients the best of luck as they head back into the Gulf of Mexico!

The address for the release is W Park Place Ave, Inlet Beach, FL 32461.

Please note that the release will start promptly at 10:00am and will last roughly 20 minutes.

So neat to vacation amongst rare coastal dune lakes. Have you ever seen Lake Powell open up to the Gulf of Mexico?

Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in North America, is an “Outstanding Florida Waters” designated lake that spans almost 800 acres. 💦 Coastal dune lakes like this one are very rare and precious freshwater ecosystems. These lakes are found in only a few locations around the world, including New Zealand, Australia, Madagascar and in the U.S. along the coasts of Oregon, South Carolina and Northwest Florida.

: Coastal dune lakes are treasured environments and should be treated with care. Please pick up your trash and leave nothing behind.
