This Tuesday and Wednesday, Director Lilly and Intern Keira had the incredible opportunity to attend the Explore Minnesota Tourism Conference. They’re back in the office today, feeling inspired by the amazing speakers, insightful breakout sessions, and the wonderful connections made with passionate professionals from across the state.

Tourism is more than just travel—it strengthens communities, creates lasting memories, and drives economic growth. In 2023, tourism in Minnesota had a $24.2 billion economic impact, and visitor spending helped save Minnesota residents an average of $1,002 in state and local taxes.

We’re excited to bring back fresh ideas and connections to help Inver Grove Heights shine. Tourism matters—not just for the economy, but for the people and stories that make our community special! 💖

Seidl's Lake Park straddling the border of Inver Grove and South St. Paul is now even more fun, with paths cleared, a skating area, labyrinth and a heart as big as the SSP resident who used his snow blower to create it.

Legends in wait, the worlds of Narnia and Middle Earth may never have come to be were it not for an unlikely friendship between J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. TOLKIEN by Ron Reed tells the stirring story of the transformative friendship between Tolkien and Lewis, spanning decades. The show features an ensemble cast of characters, followed from 1926 through 1963, amidst global tumult and personal trials. Tolkien and Lewis pushed each others’ imaginations, faith, and curiosity, growing together – and eventually growing apart.
TOLKIEN was given its professional premiere at the Pacific Theatre in Vancouver, Canada. Our production this season will be the U.S. Premiere."
