Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady does not owe me anything. . I really enjoyed the cruise. The food amazing, the drinks amazing, my cabin with balcony and hammock amazing. Great Britain Covid-19 Reopening Road Map

With light at the end of the Covid-19 tunnel, the UK government and tourism industry have announced a phased approach to reopening England to international visitors. The major date to look forward to is June 21. This is the final phase (step 4), at which time, all limits on social distancing, gatherings, and larger events will be lifted. Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland have also outlined their own plans for easing Covid restrictions. Each timeline takes a phased approach to reopening, and remains contingent on the continued success of vaccination programs across the UK this spring.

Important update regarding travel to Jamaica.

UPDATE:
New Jamaica Testing Arrival Requirements

Today, March 1, 2021, the Jamaica Tourism Board announced a change to the current arrival testing requirement for all international arrivals to the Jamaica. Effective March 4, 2021, all travelers to Jamaica, 12 years of age and over, regardless of nationality, will be required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test result to check in for a flight. The date of the sample collection must be within 3 days (72 hours) of the travel date to Jamaica. Click here, for more information about this important notice for all travelers to Jamaica.

As a reminder, all persons intending to travel to Jamaica must apply for and obtain approval for a Travel Authorization before arrival in Jamaica. All tests must be done at a lab that is College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredited, a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) registration, or ISO 15189 certification. It can be either a PCR test or an antigen test approved by the WHO/Pan American Health Organization the FDA. Antibody tests will NOT be accepted nor will results from home-based test kits.

Please be advised that the ongoing pandemic causes frequent changes to entry requirements and testing guidelines. For more details and information on updated entry requirements, please visit the frequently asked questions page on the Jamaican Tourism Board’s website.

PASSPORT UPDATE!!!
You can now apply for routine service and expect to receive a passport in 10-12 weeks*. You also have the option of paying an additional $60 for expedited service to receive your passport in 4-6 weeks.

These processing times apply to applications submitted by mail and in-person at an acceptance facility in your community. Most acceptance facilities such as post offices, clerks of court, and libraries are open and accepting passport applications. We encourage you to apply by mail when possible because it is a safe, contactless option for certain services. See question #3 for more details.

We are experiencing delays in receiving passport applications due to unprecedented mail volume and other COVID-19 impacts on the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). If you plan to expedite your passport application due to upcoming travel plans, we recommend that you send your application using USPS’ Priority Mail Express.

All of our agencies and centers are processing passport applications. Because of increases in COVID-19 cases and changing local health conditions, agencies and centers are offering extremely limited in-person services if you need to travel internationally in the next 72 hours (3 business days). See question #5 for more details.

*Due to nationwide variations in staffing and temporary closures of some facilities due to COVID-19 cases, a small percentage of routine applications are taking longer than 12 weeks to process. If you applied for routine service more than 12 weeks ago and have not received your passport yet, we may also have sent you a letter requesting additional information to continue processing your application. Please respond to this letter.
