DEAR SNOWMOBILERS: Please be advised that a sled dog race will be in progress on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday - February 28th, March 1st, & March 2nd. The trails affected will be as follows;

- FRIDAY

CALUMET to EAGLER HARBOR - 7 PM to 2 AM
TRAILS 17, 3, 132W, 132, 134, & 152

- SATURDAY

EAGLE HARBOR to COPPER HARBOR - 9 AM to 4 PM
TRAILS 152, 130, 3, 132W, 132, & 134

COPPER HARBOR to COPPER HARBOR - 3 PM to 6 PM
TRAILS 134 & 135

- SUNDAY

COPPER HARBOR to CALUMET - 9 AM to 4 PM
TRAILS 3 & 17

Dog sled teams will be racing at a five to 15 miles/hour - this is dependent on weather, number of dogs, days racing, etc. So please keep an extra eye out for the teams as they will keep an eye out for you!! There could be as many as 85 teams racing throughout the weekend!!!

Most importantly, thank you for sharing the trails with us!!! We want you to know that CopperDog is an event for all to enjoy and we take pride the relationship we have sled riders; so much that we are a Platinum Member of the Keweenaw Snowmobile Club.

Come to watch the race and have the best of times! But know that you have a chance to even do more!! Consider volunteering for a shift or two during race weekend. More info here;
