We are devastated to hear of all the storm damage from last nights tornados in the surrounding area. If you have been impacted by the storm and are without power, The Wheel House and Shepherd Mountain Bike Park would like to offer free showers and a hot beverage to those in need. The Wheel House will be open from 9AM-3PM Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday this week to help out, in addition to our regular hours.

The Wheelhouse is looking for part-time associates! You must be friendly, people-oriented, and available on weekends. Tasks include cashier, checking shuttle riders in, insuring riders sign waivers correctly, explaining how shuttling works, answering and returning phone calls, recommending local restaurants and attractions to visitors, and light cleaning and tidying of bathrooms and retail merchandise. Knowledge of Shepherd Mountain Bike Park and mountain biking is a plus!

To apply, please fill out an application available at the Wheelhouse or Ironton city hall.

The awesome work that's been done to the shuttle road is allowing us to accommodate more riders, so we have decided to raise our daily pass limit, and will now be offering 60 shuttle passes on Saturdays and Sundays!
