Have an Alaska cruise scheduled? When your itinerary says "Scenic Glacier Cruising" and no port is listed, don't think it's a day to sleep in as this may be the most scenic day of your entire cruise where your balcony and any large windows will be prime viewing space for the wonder of the glaciers only seen in a few places in the world.

Considering an Infinite Verandah? Know the differences between this newer concept and the original balcony cabin. The large picture window is motorized and lowers no more than 1/2 way. Some cruisers appreciate the extra indoor cabin space, others prefer a door separating their cabin from their balcony. Whatever your choice, make sure you know what you're getting!

Ever worked with a travel agent? Why not? Think it's too expensive? When you work with me, you don't pay me a penny! Nearly all travel has built in commission for a travel agent - whether you use one or not. Make things easier and use an experienced traveler/agent who oftentimes has access to special pricing. Plus, you can brag to your friends that you use a travel agent. I won't tell.
