Turkish business class was amazing. The people who work on board were just as good if not better than Emirates & Qatar. I loved our chef, food was delicious, served at your seat like it was the 1960’s. I wish US airlines would do all the things Turkish does for their passengers. I don’t know why we continue to pay higher fares for a lot less service and amenities on AA to earn an executive platinum status which doesn’t do much anymore. So glad I took Turkish today. Next stop Lusaka Zambia 🇿🇲

Try to travel, otherwise
you may become racist, and you may end up believing that your skin is the only one
to be right, that your language is the most romantic and that you were the first

Indonesia has 17508 islands, 1300 Ethnic Groups and over 300 cultures. I can't wait to return; this was only my 2nd time there. This visit took me to new islands in the Southern part of the country, west of Papua New Guinea. Fist stop island of Timor, visit to the market of Kupang, then the villages with amazing dancing beautiful performances. Palau Satonda, Puru Kambera Beach on the island of Sumba, then Komodo Island and the famous Pink Beach, West Nusa Tenggara, disembarking in Bali. Enjoy this little taste of what we experienced. Cultural Dances, Music, Markets, Komodo Island and its famous Komodo Dragons, Beaches, Reefs, gorgeous scenery, and UNFORGETTABLE SMILES FROM VERY BEAUTIFUL SOULS.
I am very Culturious. I didn't see enough, i couldn't get enough. Indonesia is very special, and I will return many times in my life. I do not care that the flight is so long, so amazing.
I loved that we combined this with the Kimberely in Western Australia.

Said goodbye to my friends on Lindblad expeditions National Geographic Orion this morning in Bali. The send off was a gorgeous dance, and prayer , blessings for all of us. They all lined up on the red carpet for us to walk down. I wept with such a send off.

Enjoying a little downtime on the beach before I leave.

Tonight is the start of the long journey home. Denpasar to Sydney , then Sydney DFW nonstop.

A lot to share. I need to catch up on my photo editing and posts.

Current scene , the passengers are happy to have a couple of days to reboot and hit it again. We enjoy both breakfast and Lunch outside every day. 65 guests & 65 crew on board , we are very spoiled.

En-route to fabulous islands of southern Indonesia 🇮🇩 . Excited to enjoy and learn more about their Beautiful culture, dance, reefs, snorkeling and a lot more to look forward to. Last trip to Indonesia was August 2019.

Lindblad Expeditions has filled our day with incredible lectures, photography workshops, and this is a wonderful crew.

Stunning light this morning as we explored mangroves Hunter River & Perosus Creek.
Mangroves are so important to any ecosystem, without them we lose so much. Tides here are so fascinating. We enjoyed lovely crocs(all over ) birds 🦅 and incredible weather. Our guide and naturalist Cookie ( because his name is Chris Cook) really shared a lot. The Lindblad expedition guides are so impressive , every trip I take I’m blown away.

This scenery here in Hunter River is so beautiful , you just can’t stop looking at it.
Western Australia is amazing.

Incredible to be right next to these 30,000+ year old drawings referred to as Wandijina art.

Such gorgeous water, had more croc sightings this morning as we rode the zodiac in to shore.

We enjoyed a hike to see a sight where sacred rituals happened.

Turtles just buried hundreds of eggs in the beach. There is a disturbing issue of wild pigs now eating the eggs on mainland thankfully these turtle eggs are safe in the island.

I’ve never taken a trip like this before, one must make the time , it’s a little expensive(& worth it), and it is far away. Once in a lifetime for sure ..❤️🇦🇺

I will say it’s been very interesting, my mind has definitely wondered into new territory. I think why I love these Lindblad expeditions. Anticipating the unexpected is something I love.❤️

I love Being exposed to different cultures, subjects, subcultures, ways of life. If everyone could be a traveler, we’d have such a better understanding of one another, more peace in our world, respect of how others live and not be so judgmental. I’d like to queue the Beatles now 🤣.

Quick stop today at the Museum to see 16’10” Sweetheart, learn about life in Northern Territory of Australia.

We just sailed away from the port of Darwin aboard Lindblad Expeditions National Geographic Orion.

We have alot to learn and looking forward to the adventure.

My first time in this part of remote Australia 🇦🇺 and can’t wait to experience the Kimberley!
