Had the opportunity and the HONOR to Captain for two American Hero's, during this year's Fish With a Hero event out of World wide Sportsman in Islamorada!!!
Fishing with Luis and Pablo was a fantastic treat for me, with Luis catching his first bonefish, along with snappers, jacks, and even a small tarpon. All on Artificial lures. Pablo also caught some bonefish up to 8lbs, jacks, snapper, and a Cuda or two.
Thank Captain Mark Gibson of Dauntless charters! For organizing this fantastic event for our HEROS! And thank you to all the other guides who donated their days to fish at No charge. You are truly great Americans!!!!!!!!

Had George and Joe out for the last day of the 2022 Snook Season today, and it was a busy charter! Ended the day with 2 snook and 9 mangrove snappers in the box. Overall the two caught over 20 snook, barracuda, goliath grouper, jacks, and alot of snappers. Lost a small snook to a goliath grouper, and jumped a few small tarpon. Not I catfish caught while fishing bait and artificial.

Fished the 2022 Cheeca Lodge All American Backcountry Tournament again this year with veterans Larry Kilgore, and Shane Markley. Catching 18 snook and 1 tarpon (Larry's first) over two days of fishing. Larry got to have his first tarpon Tequila shot, and our team took Grand Champion honors this year. What an Honor to have these two heros on my bow.

Red sky in the morning means a cooler full of awesome! Jared and Chuck got it Done with 10 keeper snapper and 2 legal snook in the cooler. Along with several sharks, jacks, snook, and goliath grouper. Lots of rod bending action on a 6 hr trip!

It's official I have a new record for tarpon caught on a half day trip! Steven not only caught his first Ever Tarpon but an additional 26 more!!!! That's right, 27 Tarpon on a half-day trip! Also a bird showed up and wanted to hang out while this was going on. We left one spot and he flew off, ran 2 miles away and he found us again, hanging out for another 40 minutes. It posed for some selfies and flew away when we headed in. Wild!!

First charter since Ian passed us by! Jim caught his first tarpon today during a morning half-day trip in Key Largo. Overall he went 3 for 5 on tarpon, with several nice mangrove snapper, and a big Cuda that broke off at the boat. He was busy on the bow! # #

What a great event, FISH WITH A HERO! It is honoring our VETERANS by taking them out fishing for a full day. No charge, every participating guide donates their charter. I LOVE it!! This year I had Robert and Luis, both caught there first ever Tarpon, and redfish. snapper. sharks, redfish. seatrout, And the inevitable catfish.

Great half day, with the request of dinner and some fun for a unexperienced angler. Catching her first tarpon and 2 more to boot. I forgot the tequila flask but made up for it back at the bar at Angler House marina. 4 tarpon, 8 nice keeper snapper and lots of excitement, plus unforgettable memories!!

Busy day with Dane, Sam, and Allen! 3 person full day trip was fantastic with 8 snook, 3 big jacks, redfish, snapper, jumped 3 tarpon, and even had some shots at tripletail. Every one caught snook and had a blast in calm conditions. The DOA rootbeer chartreuse tail was the game changer today!
