“Beautiful home in the perfect location. So many beach rentals have tacky decor- not this home. My wife has already located the sofa company online. We all basically lived in the pool but the beach was so close we could easily go for daily walks every morning and evening. The layout was perfect for our big family vacation (with kids from 9-19!) Plenty places for lounging and dining and communing and secluding. The porch bed on the back porch was loved by all! 10/10 Definitely recommend! We will be back!”

“We had a great stay on Isle of Palms. Alice and Rods place was lovely. Beautifully decorated, quiet location and easy access to the beach. We enjoyed sunrise walks on the beach, star gazing at night and excellent restaurants both on IOP and nearby. Even being whipped with the tail end of Helene didn’t dampen our vacation. We will definitely be back.”

Come and enjoy our Southern Hospitality in this “Isle of Palms original” that will take you back to the days before Hurricane Hugo. Originally built in 1968, it is a wonderful example of what a simpler life was like on the island back before tourism, Hurricane Hugo, and the IOP Connector.

The kitchen and living spaces are open to each other. The master bedroom features a queen bed and plenty of closet/storage space, and a TV and DVD player. Attached is a full bath with a shower only. The second bedroom has two twin beds with a TV and DVD player. There is a day bed in the small laundry room area. Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The full bath is in the hallway for easy access by everyone in your party and features a beautifully refurbished antique claw foot tub . “Loved the place! We stayed for a week and found the home clean, comfortable and inviting. The home is located a just a couple blocks from the beach and a nearby park with pickleball, tennis, basketball and a playground. The kitchen had good appliances and tools for cooking which is convenient for a longer stay. I would definitely look at staying here again on a future visit to Charleston.”

“We’ve stayed at a bunch of houses in IOP and Folly over the years. This was by far our favorite house. The pool was fantastic to take a break from the beach or for an early morning or late night swim. The space under the house was a comfortable temperature and a great place for a family co****le tournament (they have great boards and professional style bags). The beach chairs were clutch. Kitchen was amazing for cooking meals and the grill was very nice compared to most grills at rentals. Great location - highly recommend either bikes or a golf cart to get to the beach, marina and grocery store. Wonderful stay and the property managers were wonderful and extremely responsive. We’ll be back!!!”

“We had a great time here! The house is very spacious and great for groups. There are great entertaining spaces on all floors, both inside and outside. The house is also an easy walk to the beach and comes with beach equipment which was a nice perk. The pool was nice and clean. Weve already discussed returning and booking the house again! Sand Dollar Beach House is a 5 bedroom 5 bathroom dream home spectacularly decorated inside with garage game room, pool, hot tub and large porches.

The main floor’s expansive open floor plan has a gourmet kitchen with large table and island connecting to the living room and foyer. Glass doors line the rear of the home and lead to the large porch overlooking the pool perfect for morning coffee or evening dinner.
