Youth Fishing League - Charleston Division - Spring Season Registration is NOW! Message or call about how to reserve your spot and see photos from this past Fall Season!

Dates for the Spring Season are March 11th. - May 10th. Welcoming ages 6-15 and any experience level. Teams will be formed based on age and will compete against each other weekly on a point system through an 8 week season. Each team will fish once a week Tuesday - Thursday with Captain Bo Fishing Charters. We will leave out of Shem Creek and spend time fishing the Harbor, Wando River and Waterways behind the Islands. Fishing starts after school from 3:30 or 4 through 7.

This is an opportunity for the kids to learn while also making it competitive. Throughout the season, kids will learn tying knots, fishing methods for different fish, boat safety and navigation, safely handling and releasing fish, throwing cast net for bait and more.

Charleston Youth Fishing League has gotten off to a great start! The first 2 weeks were focused in the creeks and waterways. The next 6 weeks we are going to be fishing for big Bull Reds in the Harbor. As the water cools down we will also start fishing artificials for Trout and Sheepshead. Fall Fishing is the best time of the year in Charleston! Each team’s scores are totally weekly based on the fish they catch and length!

We are full for Tuesday’s Team Redfish Slayers but a couple spots open on Wednesday’s Team Pigfish and Thursday’s Team Tarpon! We fish out of Shem Creek 4-7! Please call or message about pricing!

KIDS SUMMER CAMP! Only 2 spots left! Message or call 843-330-2400 about signing up! I’m working with Captain Jesse Riddle at Tight Line Charters this summer offering a kid's camp June 13th - 17th. Camps are 8am - 3pm rain or shine.

This is a great opportunity for any kids who have been wanting to learn more about fishing tactics and navigation. Not only will we be doing A LOT of fishing, each day we will focus on different aspects such as: Reading Tides, Wind, Water and Current, Proper Tackle Rigging, Finding and Catching Bait with Cast Net, Conservation, Local Regulations, Learning Fishing Strategies of Different Species of Fish and more!

Lunch and snacks are not provided. Please send your child with a small stowable lunch box. All other drinks will marked and iced down in an onboard cooler.

Price is $1,200 per child. That includes all tackle, licensing, bait, equipment and all safety gear. We require a $300 deposit to hold your child's spot.
