Yesterday we enjoyed a walk through beautiful Victoria Falls Park to see the different views of the falls! It is a spectacular sight! When we were done with our hike, we chose to do the helicopter ride over the falls & wildlife park! I never thought I would get up the nerve do ride in a helicopter and I loved every minute of it! Next we had some free time then went on a sundown cruise on the River to watch another beautiful sunset! We had a fabulous dinner at the hotel with local entertainment!

Yesterday we hiked through Victoria Falls Park & then went on our first helicopter ride to see the falls from above! It was incredible! Ama is doing such a fantastic job!

We are having an amazing time on Amawaterways Zambezi Queen! This is the most beautiful sunset that I’ve ever seen! These photos are from our Jeep safari through the Chobe National Park. Some of the animals were so close that we could almost touch them! If you have ever dreamed of going to Africa, this is the way to do it and I would be happy to help!

We flew from Cape Town to Victoria Falls, crossed 5 borders & made it to the Zambezi Queen today! We saw a huge elephant that was hiding in the bushes along the rode, a warthog & impala on the way. Once we were on the tender boat, we saw herds of elephants right from our boat. The sunset was incredible! I can’t wait to see our view of animals tomorrow! This is definitely a trip of a lifetime & our tour manager, Delia is fantastic!

Had a great day, yesterday! Drove down the windy coast of South Africa to get to the lighthouse for a great view of the coastline then got to visit the Cape of Good Hope! We enjoyed seeing the seals sunning themselves on the rocks. We also encountered a large baboon & wild ostrich! The highlight of my day was spending time at Boulder Beach to watch the adorable penguins waddle around and sit in their nests! We had a wonderful lunch at the Harbour House restaurant! What a wonderful birthday today! Talk to you later!😎

I am so glad we were able to travel to Europe & sail on Amawaterways! There were some extra steps to follow, such as getting a Covid test before we traveled and filling out paperwork for the different countries that we were visiting, but it was well worth it! We were able to get our Covid test onboard, for our return to the US! Ama made it very easy & smooth.
The food was incredible & so was the Cruise Manager, Talida & the staff on the AmaLucia! This was from our last day in Bernkastel, Germany, 11/1/21!

This is the American Jazz, which is the newest ship in American Cruise Lines fleet. We receive a newsletter every day for the activities offered on & off the ship! We stopped my Frogmore plantation yesterday to see an old fashioned cotton gin & to hear about the slaves that lived on the plantation. It was quite moving! In the afternoon, we enjoyed a beer tasting at Natchez Brewery!
