Happening tonight!

The Volunteer Times, local exchange students and other high school students will be providing the popcorn wagon at the Exterior Home Solutions Pro Rodeo Friday and Saturday night. Cash only for popcorn as proceeds will go to the local Meals on Wheels program!

Don’t worry about the weather. We can deal with anything but lightning and we’re hoping that won’t be an issue during our time. If you get a late start, bleachers might be getting full so grab a camping chair on your way out the door and we’ll squeeze you in there somewhere. Free parking and a separate full concession stand will be offered as well.

Mutton Bustin' kicks off at 7pm and the rodeo starts at 8pm. Kids 5 and under get in free, ages 6-11 are only $10, and 12 and up are $15.

You can use your debit card for concessions if internet isn’t fighting us, but cash is always king! Remember your umbrella, just in case things get damp but we’ll still forge right through! See y'all there!

The Nature Conservancy has been awarded a $38,000 grant from Yamaha Motor Corporation USA as part of its Outdoor Access Initiative (www.yamahaoai.com)

This grant will allow The Nature Conservancy to install bridges and stream crossings to improve the environmental quality of Tackett Creek's streams while continuing to keep this local land accessible and safe for OHV enthusiasts.
