Stopped by today to do some work around the house. The creek is looking good especially with all the rain we had. There is so much pretty quartz in there, but alas, I have to wait for the water to go down before I put my waders on and look for prizes.

Downtown Jackson will overflow with family-friendly fun -- antiques and crafts vendors, two days of live music, pancake breakfast, kids’ carnival, food booths, beer and wine garden – at the Jackson Lions Club’s annual Dandelion Days Street Fair, Saturday and Sunday, March 15 – 16, 2025, 8 am – 5 pm, rain or shine.

When the Spirits Do the Screening for Us

Another group booked a stay without reading the description (classic mistake). They were convinced their child was about to be possessed. Was it the toddler or the spirits that unrolled the toilet paper and locked a door and shut it?

Spoiler: The kid was fine. The family left. The spirits? Just mildly offended.

Moral of the story? Read the description, folks. This house is haunted.

We appreciate the ghosts for handling our quality control.

Spirits or Coincidence? You Decide!

Saturday night, after an incredible investigation, we were wrapping up and getting ready for bed. As I went to turn off the lights in the basement, something caught my eye—one of the dolls had fallen to the floor. No one had touched it. No one was around.

Was this just a coincidence? Or did the spirits want to make their presence known one last time before we called it a night? 👻🪆

Took a new futon (replaced the sofa in the master) to the house and heard a creepy scratching. Figured out it was ivy so sent my husband (who is used to working in high places) to trim it. Nice having help!
