I was very impressed with the kids club and that it’s 100% electronics free. The kids were making art when I popped in AND the Kids Club team even takes them on golf cart rides through their natural reserve to see the animals! Like a little safari 😀

I made a little travel boo boo….I got a new updated phone, the IPhone 15 cos I wanted a good camera for my trip. I got it too close to my departure date and with all my running around didn’t get all the right accessories (I used my last IPhone’s screen protector, case, etc..the glove ain’t fitten)

Plus it’s now that dadgum C plug (I hate you Apple!)
So my old car charger wouldn’t work🥴

When my battery almost died while driving in I knew I need some help! STAT! And this MAGICAL PHONE WIZARD was there to help!!
•
Phone charger, c-plug cable, he cleaned my phone, new screen protector, camera lens protector, car holder phone thing so I’m not navigating from my lap now! All the phone travel things I need!

Sometimes staying & traveling in ONE country can be enough! Although I plan & book a lot of multi-country trips for clients This ‘All Over Portugal’ Trip is making me jealous

Lisbon ➡️ the Algarve region ➡️ flying to the Azores ➡️ Porto…..& all with amazing day trips!

I was about to take Lunas on a walk when a delivery van pulled up….AND told me I had flowers! WHO? What? Where? Receiving floral arrangements is pretty rare for me so I was quite surprised!!
•
Then I was so thankful! What a beautiful gift from my clients! Last year we planned a month long European remote work holiday for them & their daughter to have the opportunity to delve a little deeper into culture & local adventure.
•
This type of trip takes ALOT of planning, patience & conversation from all of us and it makes my ❤️ happy to know we pulled it off spectacularly!
The McKay family sure rocked out in 🇭🇷 and finished it off with a few days in London. Merci Beaucoup Yall!

A Good Travel Advisor + Travel Insurance = Winning🙌

Back in Sept heading on their honeymoon, these guys flight was cancelled causing them to miss Day 1 of their Italian Honeymoon on the 😥
•
SO! I contacted hotel and transfer company to let them know they would be a day late and booked an extra night on the end so they could enjoy their full time in Italy. Many times hotels and private services are NOT refundable 24 hours in so I was there for them when we filed a travel insurance claim to get that money back. AND They Did!
•
I’m also here for the emotional side, that’s stressful to miss your flight for a long awaited honeymoon. Being there for my clients as a friend and advocate is part of a job I love doing 😁❤️

📌If you know you want to travel over spring break or even this summer (March-August) start planning like, yesterday. 😉

📌Pricing is up…everywhere. Including all things travel. What you could get for 3k a few years ago is not available now, think double.... yes, double and sometimes even higher. And unfortunately I don’t have access to a secret vault with discounted pricing on airfare. 🙃 If you want the best pricing and availability, book EARLY!!

📌”Deals” are harder to come by now. So gambling with time to see if the price comes down may leave you with less-than-ideal options (and/or) increased pricing. Resorts are booked, sold out, thus no need to offer "deals". The better prices are obtained when you book early, I don't want you to pay a penny more for your vacation than you have to!

📌Availability is already low for summer travel. This is not a scare tactic- it’s honest and based on my research for current client requests. The earlier you book, the better the availability at resorts and on cruise ships.

📌This is the busiest season of the year for our industry - so patience on our replies is SO appreciated! I promise I'm not ignoring you! ❤️

📌If you use a travel advisor (even if it’s not me) please, please remember that we only get paid for our time when you book & travel with us. The pricing and availability I pull for you won't be valid a week from now. The best time for us to look at prices is when you're ready to book!

Please be respectful while traveling! Unlike this goofball who thought it was perfectly fine to rest his elbow near my head (on My Seat) for quite some time before de-training.

I’ve learned that people don’t really pay attention to their arm movements while on planes and trains..people are behind, in front and beside you, so just be aware of you arm radius.
•
Note: I had a soft black eye once from a guy on a plane putting his jacket on like he was on a football field… Dude.. there’s not much room.
•
How do feel about personal space while traveling on planes and trains? I know it’s tight but we can still be considerate….right?

Training off from Nice to Paris on a 6.5 hr journey. I ❤️❤️ Trains So much! I’m going to relax, read, snooze, catch up on some work & have a picnic that I brought with me…best part is you’re dropped off in the middle of Paris so a quick taxi or Uber (or take the metro) will take me to my accommodations…

Travel Tip: when getting ready to go on a trip where you will be walking a Butt Load, you need that thick foot skin. Don’t grate it off!!

Lesson learned many years ago trying to have silky smooth feet. I did…then proceeded to get numerous blisters bc we were walking so much.

This 9 x12 original water painted by is being raffled off by marching Krewe Nugget League of Mayhem to raise money for Children’s of Mississippi.

This piece is framed and was originally created to go with the 2020 parade theme “Here’s looking at Rude, Kid”. 
This piece features the Rude Men in a past parade inspired by the Prince album ‘Dirty Mind’ where they also hailed the name ‘Rude Men’
It’s an origin story 😁
Grand Marshall of the Parade Trace Alston is behind one of those masks.
