We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Milton. Based on the latest projection, we are making additional operational adjustments for the safety of our Guests and Cast Members beginning tomorrow, Oct. 9.

The Walt Disney World Emergency Operations Center is connected to weather experts and community leaders. Please know these adjustments have been made in order to leave plenty of time for our Guests and Cast Members to return to their Resort hotels or homes safely hours before higher winds are expected to reach Central Florida.

Operational Impacts Include:

Walt Disney World Theme Parks

On Oct. 9, our theme parks and Disney Springs will be closed in phases beginning at 1 p.m.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close at 1 p.m.
Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney Springs will close at 2 p.m.
It is likely the theme parks will remain closed on Thursday, Oct. 10. We will consider opening Disney Springs Thursday late afternoon with limited offerings.
This includes the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 10. Event tickets will be refunded.
Disney Resort Hotel Closures

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. They are likely to remain closed until Sunday, Oct. 13.
Transportation

Walt Disney World Transportation will stop operating Wednesday, Oct. 9 after Disney Springs and the Walt Disney World theme parks close.
Limited Minnie Van and Mears taxi service will be available to Walt Disney World Resort Guests.
Recreation

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Disney’s Blizzard Beach remains closed for planned refurbishment.
Reservations for Dining and Other Experiences

Effective immediately, we will not enforce cancellation policies until further notice for dining and other experiences.

👋 The most common comment I receive when talking travel is “oh, I thought you only book Disney!”

Jamaica has some of the most beautiful beaches in the caribbean and loads of amazing All Inclusives to enjoy!!

This group spent 7 nights at Secrets Wild Orchid All Inclusive in Montego Bay 🏝️ 🌊 ☀️ 🍹 where they enjoyed the preferred club amenities, butler service, crystal blue water and beautiful sunny skies 😎

HELLLOOOOOOO and Happy Fall!! I have been having some facebook business page issues so I truly apologize for being MIA for a while!! But I AM baaack!!! Let’s start with a quick intro to fall and Halloween as they are celebrated in the Disney Parks and Disney cruise line! 🎃 👻

Running Aug. 9 through Oct. 31 at Walt Disney World Resort and Aug. 23 through Oct. 31 at Disneyland Resort, as well as on select Disney Cruise Line sailings, this year’s Halloween season is frightfully packed with fun and festivities for guests and their families.

While strolling through Disney parks, resorts or aboard Disney Cruise Line, guests will be greeted by the warm welcome of fall decorations everywhere they turn.

Guests attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World can watch the skies come alive with a Halloween spectacular unlike any other. Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s "The Nightmare Before Christmas" is the night’s bone-chilling host!

Another must-see moment of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade. Guests can watch as a masquerade of their favorite characters float by in mesmerizing fashion down Main Street U.S.A. … including some hitchhiking ghosts! Party-goers can catch the parade at 8:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m.

Cinderella Castle stage at Magic Kingdom will host a spell-bounding show during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party featuring everyone’s favorite witches, the Sanderson Sisters! Along with some of guests’ favorite Disney villains, the sisters work to conjure their Hocus Pocus party potion and cast a spell on the whole park.

Both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World will be home to some scarily good specialty food and drink items all season long. From the Halloween Mummy Cupcake to the Villainous Double Cheeseburger, there are countless delectable bites for guests to sink their fangs into.

I have guests who have been celebrating halloween in WDW and Disneyland already and so many more in the next few weeks.

IT’S TIME!!!!! 👻 🎃 Mickey’s Not So scary Halloween Party is back!!

No tricks here, because we’re doling out five new treats — plus returning favorites — for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2024! It’s time to kick off the festivities with a Halfway to Halloween celebration, and we’re conjuring up more spooky spectacles at this separately-ticketed event.

This year’s event kicks off Aug. 9 and will take place on select nights through Oct. 31 at Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort. Tickets go on sale for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green on May 8. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale May 15th!

The dates for 2024 are:

August 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
