Big news: Jackson Hole Grizzly 399 lives and has one new cub at her side.

Amid reports swirling all day, her identity is confirmed. She appears to be in good health, observers say, and at age 27 she matches the oldest known grizzly mother to have a new cub since modern grizzly bear research began some seven decades ago.
