The Visit Mississippi team had a blast volunteering and adding the final touches to our Birthplace of America’s Music float for the Rose Parade!🌹We were honored to have Mayor Todd Jordan and Governor Tate Reeves stop by to check out the float and even add a few yellow roses themselves to make it parade-perfect.

Calling all tennis fans! 🎾 Southaven’s Snowden Grove is set to host Mississippi’s only professional tennis tournament – the Southaven Open!
From August 5-11, this prestigious USTA Pro Circuit event will showcase rising stars poised to become the next big names in tennis. Past participants include legends like Andy Roddick (2003 US Open Champion) and John Isner (record holder for most aces in men’s tennis). This year, the tournament welcomes the current No. 2 World Tennis Tour Junior – Kaylan Bigun!
