We had some local friends donate a meal and snacks for 10 summer staff members who are from out of town and spending the week at Camp ASCCA. Helen Harber of Dadeville contributed snacks and breakfast items and coordinated with Geraldine Johnson with Me Mama's Grub Hub Catering in Dadeville for a donation of a bbq dinner and sides. We appreciate the generosity that has been given after our Dining Hall was struck by lightning, thus disabling all food service. Camp ASCCA will reopen on July 6 for Session #4.

Camp ASCCA experienced a lightning strike that caused fire and water damage to the Dining Hall's kitchen. We need assistance with restocking the food pantry, replacing kitchen equipment, and other items. ATTN: Everyone at Camp ASCCA both campers and staff are safe. However, lightning struck the dining hall, and the building has suffered fire and water damage. Unfortunately, we will not be able to have campers with us for this week. Please make plans to pick up your camper tonight or tomorrow at 9 a.m. Again, everyone at Camp ASCCA is safe.
