Pine Forest Dance Ensemble - 10:30 am

The Pine Forest School of the Arts hosts an after-school dance troupe known as the Pine Forest Dance Ensemble, which was founded in 2011. This group consists of students from grades 1 to 5 and showcases their talents throughout the community. Numerous alumni from the PF Dance program return to support the ensemble as volunteers. Additionally, these young dancers collaborate with The Florida Ballet. The ensemble operates under the leadership of Laura Hammock.

Sun Child - Noon

Sun Child is a dreamy folk artist from Jacksonville Beach, Florida. What started as a solo project in April of 2023 by singer-songwriter Brooke Garwood has quickly evolved into an incandescent ensemble. Sun Child’s debut EP, “Everything,” was recorded with Patrick Taylor of Trash Panda in his home studio. At the time, Garwood was a solo artist who had just moved to the beaches from Charleston, South Carolina, where she was a part of several folk projects. The goal of her “coming out project” was to convey a fuller and more distinct sound compared to older tracks like “Elephants” and “Can’t Move,” released under different identities.

Jenni Reid - 1:30 pm

Jenni Reid is a singer-songwriter whose accolades go well beyond Jacksonville's limits (she's made television appearances on One Tree Hill and FreeForm's Truth & Illiza 🌟). She's known for her unique growling voice which blends into the styles of blues, country, and rock.

Today marks here at the Riverside Arts Market— as a program of Riverside Avondale Preservation, we are proud to be able to give back to the community and share what the historic neighborhood offers.

What is Giving Tuesday? It’s a global day of generosity—a chance for communities to come together and make a meaningful impact. This year, we’re focusing on the small businesses that make Riverside & Avondale so unique.

From the mom-and-pop shops to the cozy cafés and creative boutiques, these businesses do more than sell goods—they create jobs, build connections, and keep our neighborhood vibrant and welcoming. But small businesses need us now more than ever. With so much turnover in recent years, your support can help them thrive and continue to shape the identity of our community.

How can you help?
✔️ Shop at a local store and Riverside Arts Market
✔️ Grab a bite at a family-owned restaurant
✔️ Share a kind word (or a positive review!)
✔️ Spread the word to your friends

This Giving Tuesday and beyond, show our local businesses that they’re more than storefronts—they’re the soul of our community. Tag your favorite local spots below and let us know how you’re giving back today! 🌟

In our work to become a more sustainable market, we’re continuing our work with Apple Rabbit Compost with the support of TerraWise Homes! Thanks to TerraWise, our market can continue the work to allow our farmers to sustainably get rid of any waste they may have at the end of the market 💚♻️ “Terrawise Homes is proud to sponsor all composting initiatives at the Riverside Arts Market for the next year. RAM is a hub for local culture, and by helping promote composting, we hope to reduce waste, promote greener lifestyles, and foster a sense of environmental stewardship right here in Jacksonville. Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our homes - it’s about building a better future for everyone.”

FAB Unlimited Match Now Through Dec 31, 2024!

As Florida families and farmers continue to recover after Hurricane Helene and Milton, Feeding Florida's Fresh Access Bucks (FAB) are supporting FAB Partners (like us!) to meet the needs of local communities. Now through December 31, 2024, SNAP and D-SNAP shoppers will be able to shop at local markets and outlets with no daily cap!

Because of the widespread impact of these back-to-back storms and the impact on Florida farmers, the unlimited match increase will apply to participating FAB farm-direct locations across the entire state, not only those located in D-SNAP counties.
