Our next feature for National Roller Coaster Week 🎢: Expedition Everest!

This roller coaster is located at Animal Kingdom at Disney World. After a steep ascent, your train picks up speed and races into the darkness. Without warning, a broken and twisted track appears in front of you. Brace yourself as you plummet backward into total darkness. Inside the cavern, you might just get a glimpse of the snow monster!

We are almost done with our US destination series, I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have! Today's feature is beautiful year round, but the best time to go is peak foliage season in the fall! Keeping with our US destination spotlights, Boston Massachusetts is our feature location! When you walk along the narrow cobblestone streets of Beacon Hill, passing gas-lit lanterns and Federal-style row houses, you may have to remind yourself Boston is no longer an English colony!

Located in the forward-thinking Kendall Square neighborhood, alongside MIT and major tech firms, The Kendall is a piece of preserved history amidst technology. In homage of the independence of the Black Sheep, The Kendall, with Queen Anne-style architecture, remains one of the area’s only 19th century buildings. It is a member of Historic Hotels of America, and on the National Register of Historic Places.

Included in our nightly fee is a daily American breakfast buffet and nightly wine reception!

The Kendall Hotel, once the Engine 7 Firehouse, is a symbol of the pioneering spirit that has permeated Kendall Square for 200 years. During the 19th century, the neighborhood had become a major industrial center with several factories and power plants. Engine 7 was completed in 1895, and was one of the new, single-purpose firehouses.

Our next destination is in beautiful Colorado! So many people want to visit Aspen but the price tag holds them back. Crested Butte is a great alternative located 40 minutes from the airport in Gunnison, CO.
