Earlier this month, we had an incredible journey with the 8th graders from South Effingham Middle School as we explored the vibrant heart of our nation— !

From standing in awe at the Lincoln Memorial to exploring the rich history at the Smithsonian museums, each stop was packed with excitement and learning. The students engaged with our country’s past and present, gaining firsthand experience of democracy in action at the U.S. Capitol and discovering the stories that shaped our nation. 📚✨
