Favorite Marina Project: Having built marinas in seven countries my favourites are: Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi, Queenstown Marina in New Zealand, and Shellharbour Marina, in Australia.

This month's employee spotlight is on Eric Noegel! Eric is our general manager for our west division office located in Dixon, CA, and is excited to work with you.

Hometown: Roseville, CA

Hobbies: - father, Addicted to Sunday Ticket/Red Zone, Rooting for UW Football, Grilling and generally being a carnivore, Wannabe mixologist, Strumming a guitar/ukulele, and workaholic

Favorite Marina Project: There are so many to choose from, but if I had to pick only one, I would have to say AMLI Marina in Marina del Rey. It was about 250 slips, but we came up with a very good-looking aggregate deck on the concrete floats unique to the marina. In addition, we constructed two large platforms for the boathouses that provide office, workout, and bathroom facilities. We also installed an LED strip light down the perimeter of the walkways that truly illuminated the evening providing an extraordinary visual from several locations in the marina. Lastly, we created locations for storing and launching paddleboards, kayaks, and other human-powered craft.

Why You Like Working for Bellingham: I’ve been one of the lucky ones who has worked for a single company my whole life - 27 years so far. Bellingham is the best- there is never a dull moment as we learn something new every day, and we never build the same project twice. We do it all - planning, engineering, permitting, manufacturing, construction, pile driving, and utilities. There is nothing more enjoyable than seeing your efforts culminate in a new project that you can be proud of for years to come. At Bellingham Marine, we do the right thing and work tirelessly to ensure our clients are pleased with their projects.

Hobbies: Spending time with my family, competing in Spartan Races

Favorite Marina Project: I have really enjoyed really two large jobs, Alamitos Bay Marina, and The Wharf in Washington DC as they have both been a part of an improvement to the overall area and community.

Why You Like Working for Bellingham: I began my career with Bellingham as a summer job, but really enjoyed the people I worked with, and the philosophy of the company to always do what is right for our customers. It was not just about a paycheck, but really being proud of what we make and the customers we have.

This month's employee spotlight is on Jeff Pratt! Jeff is our general manager for our East Division office and is excited to work with you.

Hometown: Batesville, Indiana and Jacksonville, Florida

Hobbies: I enjoy traveling with my wife and two young children, golfing, fishing, and boating.

Favorite Marina Project: My favorite marina project was my first, Fisher Island Guest Marina in Miami, FL. The ownership group was great to work with in providing a design-build solution to a world-class facility. Because of the success of the superyacht marina project, we were awarded their residence marina project, a 98-slip marina completed earlier this year.

Why You Like Working for Bellingham: We have a fantastic team from the top down. Our people are great to work with in developing marina solutions to our projects. The history of Bellingham Marine’s involvement in building marinas around the world is one of the longest and simply the best, and I’m grateful to be a part of it.
