Love seeing the cabin glow at night. The only thing better is turning off all the lights and stargazing. Since the cabin is located in a dark sky park you really get to enjoy the stars with minimal light pollution.

Last weekend we finally got the chance to get our paddles wet! We floated 4 miles and made it last all day long ☀️

We’re opening our calendars up soon, so hopefully others can enjoy the river as much as we do ❤️

We’re very happy to see everything finally wrapping up at the cabin. What a journey it has been! A few final touches to be made over the next couple weeks and hopefully we’ll open our calendars to be able to rent this beauty out!

We knew we wanted a tv at the cabin, but did not want it to look like a tv. So we decided to invest in the Samsung Frame tv which doubles as a digital art installation.

We are almost at the finish line🏁 You may have wondered why the front piece of siding remained unfinished for so long. We wanted the sliding doors to open a certain way and they were installed in the wrong order. They were very heavy doors so we had to wait until the deck was built to swap them around, also we got our hot tub installed🙌.

Porch’s are almost done! We are starting to get really close to being finished. We are really excited about decorating and moving furniture and appliances soon.

Getting our decking done this week and hoping to have it finished by the end of next week!

We will be soo excited to enjoy the view while sitting back and relaxing on our porches once they’re finished 😁

It’s hard to believe we’re only a few weeks away from being totally finished!

Personally, it’s felt like a lifetime ago since we started. But things are finally wrapping up. We can’t wait to have a place of our own up here and be able to share its beauty with so many others 💙

Flooring is done ✔️ mill work is moving right along, purchased materials for deck yesterday looking forward to driving up this weekend to see all the progress!

Last weekend we spent both days painting and finishing electrical and brought the pups along with us. They enjoyed laying in the sun and looking out the windows ☀️

Little did we know our first full weekend spent at the cabin would be our last with our sweet Lilly girl. I’m glad we got to spend her last few days at the place we love ❤️ We’ll sure miss our Silly Billy 🌈🕊️
