Announcing an exciting update!! After having the opportunity to get to know our mountain ridge cabin over the last few years, we've decided to change the name from KWCabin Arkansas to Butterfly Ridge Cabin - Buffalo River Canyon View!

Butterflies have been widely considered a symbol of transformation, hope, freedom, earthly beauty, love and rebirth in Native American cultures. All things we feel and embrace here at Butterfly Ridge!

Arkansas butterflies love our Black Walnut trees and we can't help but feel a like we're in a fairytale when surrounded by them from early spring to late fall. We're even located in the path of a Monarch migration to and from Michoacán, Mexico!

There's something absolutely magical about winter in the Ozarks. Mysteries of spring and summer are exposed when the leaves have fallen from the trees and the waterways are at their most pristine.
Day hikes are quiet and meditative in a way that is indescribably soul replenishing; a necessary peaceful break from the daily grind.

Pictured is Woods Boys Falls along a trail that includes Magnolia Falls and Stahl falls, a 2.5 round trip easy to moderate hike just a short and incredibly scenic drive from KWCabin Arkansas - Buffalo National River Region.

Kind of foggy this morning, but THIS is where you turn off of Hwy. 74 between Jasper and Ponca to get to our gallery today or tomorrow. (FYI, the small cemetery that you pass along the way is the last confirmed location where Elvis was photographed in Arkansas - happened about four months before he died...)
