Thank you, Dubois County Chamber of Commerce for the tremendous recognition of 2024 Business of the Year! We are honored and thrilled and humbled to receive this recognition.

The nominees across each category were all very deserving. Congratulations to Bryce Morrison of Mom Water / Dad Water on a fine presentation!

Our staff does a great job serving our guests from all over the world. Our primary goal is “to make our guests feel special.” We do this by focusing on the details, and we are pleased these efforts show.

Here is a little history of the company for those interested.

Sultan’s Run was built in 1992 as a premium regional golf course.

A little over a dozen years ago, investment began in people, equipment and property to expand the service offerings and transform the business into a boutique resort. Over the past five years, millions of dollars have been invested toward this vision. Earlier this year, phase three of the transformation was completed when the clubhouse was expanded and fully renovated.

Sultan’s Run has four main lines of business including world-class golf, chef-inspired banquets & catering, luxury lodging and premium merchandise. All of our products and services are available to the general public and more expansions are on the horizon.

In addition to providing premium entertainment options for the local community, Sultan’s Run is an important part of the Dubois County tourism industry, attracting guests from all over the world who stay in local lodging, eat at local restaurants and shop at other local businesses. We employ seventy local residents in full-time and part-time roles, all focused on serving guests. We also support more than 130 regional charitable endeavors each year. The overall contribution to the local economy is in the tens of millions of dollars.
